This class will be taught as an interactive seminar-style class. Meaning, Amy will be sharing information with the class and then demonstrating how that information applies in a real audition situation, in a mock-audition format.  

During the demonstrations of the feature film, episodic and pilot scenes, Amy will read with actors who were chosen in advance of the seminar to work on a scene for the purpose of illustrating the Audition Rockstar techniques. During the co-star role demonstrations, Amy will take volunteers from the class chosen at random.

As an actor, would you ever say, I went to acting class, why do I need to go again? Of course not! You know that your training as an actor is ongoing. You also know that when you work with great teachers, there's always new things to be learned.

Also, last time the event was a half-day event. This time it's a full day. That means more training, more time to dive deeper into what you need to know about auditioning, more time to add in some fun surprises too! 

Amy specifically designed this live event so that whether you have the Audition Rockstar Master Class or not, you're getting a unique learning experience and another way to advance your audition skills.

The Audition Rockstar online master class is a comprehensive recorded video training series with 39 video lessons giving you a complete picture on how to build your audition from the foundation, to the specifics, to the in-the-room techniques to the follow up afterward.  

Whereas...  

The Audition Rockstar LIVE seminar, takes several of the key Audition Rockstar techniques from the online class and shows you how to apply them. You'll be watching actors LIVE, in the room, performing scenes, as I coaching them using Audition Rockstar techniques.  

So, the online master class is virtual and you have to take what you're learning into your own auditions and classes and apply it on your own.  

The LIVE event takes some of the key elements from the online class, but is more of an implementation experience, where you see how those techniques are applied to real life audition scenes.

The online program and the live event were designed to pair together and not be an either/or experience.

Actors flew from all over the country to be at our last event and this one will be no different. Why? Because every serious actor knows that if you want to hit the next level in your acting career, you're gonna need NEXT LEVEL audition skills - the kind that Amy has been showing professional actors how to master for years. 

No matter where you are in the world, you're going to want to attend this special in-person audition skills event.

A few days before the event, you'll receive email with a link to a PDF packet of sides that you can download and review, in case you'd like to follow along and/or ask questions about them during the mock-audition sections of the class. So, feel free to bring any or all of those sides with you if you like.  

You'll also want to have a pen, paper to take notes.  

In addition, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket, as sometimes the theatre can get pretty cool.

While this is NOT a beginning audition training, you'll find that as a newer actor this event will be incredibly helpful to your development as a professional in this industry.  

Instead of learning bad audition habits it may take you years to UN-learn, you'll understand what's expected of you in professional auditions. You'll also learn how to create the skills and habits that will have you auditioning at a professional level right off the bat so you can hit the ground running in your acting career.  

As an experienced actor, you, more than anyone else, know that a professional actor NEVER stops training. And no matter how many auditions you've done, how many credits you have, you know that there is always another level to reach with your performance and your acting career.  

That's why it's vital that you fill in any gaps (major or minor) in your audition training. Even one small tweak or one tiny detail can be just the thing you need to increase your callback and booking ratio and hit the next level.  

So, choosing to attend is a slam dunk, no-brainer for any professional actor who's serious about working more and learning the insider knowledge to make that happen.  

While this class is not specifically designed for the child actor, the curriculum is absolutely appropriate and will be extremely valuable for any professional film or TV actor age 12 or older. We recommend that any actor under the age of 16 purchase a second ticket for their parent or guardian to accompany them.
